Everything I wore in France this summer
No one loves shopping for an event or vacation more than me. Since this trip was a mix of work and play, it was a bit harder to find pieces that were perfect for both (and would be worn again). While I love finding that extra special statement piece, when shopping for events or travel I try to find pieces that I know will become staples in my wardrobe for seasons and years to come. To avoid overpacking, I kept it simple with basics and pieces I could mix and match. Below you’ll find a recap of pieces I wore on my trip and have been main stays in my closet all summer long.
Paris:
Starting strong with this Destree top I got on The RealReal. I paired it back to my favorite Agolde jeans, a Hunting Season clutch, and a pair of mesh flats from Mango. Linked here.
This black vest is a staple for my summer work wardrobe so I bought a white linen skirt that I knew I could style many different ways to pair it back to. Linked here.
This Mango top is certainly worthy of compliments. I’ve loved pairing with denim in Paris and a mini skirt in NYC. I can’t wait to wear this piece well into fall. Linked here.
Doen is perfect for summer and that is all to be said about that. I paired it back to some of my favorite A Emery sandals. (Note: this dress does run sheer). Linked here.
No caption needed for this LouLou Studio satin set. I wear both pieces separately to work and this set was perfect to look put together on the plane and post red eye. Linked here.
Aix-en-Provence:
After a few days in Paris, we went to Aix-En-Provence. I paired the perfect summer St. Agni dress with an Ines Bressand bag I purchased last summer and pair of A Emery wrap sandals. All items, were perfect for the trip and summer in NYC. Linked here.
Night one was a night for outfit repeating and sale finds. I got this Khaite dress on major sale back in December and paired it with my favorite sandals from The Row sample sale 2 years ago and an Attersee satin bag, also purchased from their sample sale. Linked here.
This Deiji Studios set made the perfect travel fit. It’s so good I even bought it in black for summer in NYC. The cost per wear on this is definitely worth it, I love to wear the pieces separate as well as together. This set is perfect for when I can’t think of anything else to wear on a hot summer day. Cassis:
First night in Cassis and a St. Agni summer it was. I found this dress on sale and knew it was piece I’d wear again. Paired it back to my same bag and a pair of Ancient Greek Sandals I’ve now had for 3 summers and still haven’t gotten old. Linked here.
My Deiji Studio boxer shorts, paired back to a Hunza G bikini of course. When it comes to swim I tend to keep it simple and choose styles I know make me feel good. Hunza G does just that. Linked here.
And my Deiji Studios shirt paired back to my favorite white linen Reformation pants. Mixing and matching was the theme of this trip. Linked here.
For night two in Cassis, I paired two staples in my closet. This Leset strapless top and Frankie Shop maxi skirt. I added a fun necklace I bought in Paris to complete the look. Linked here.
For my last look, sharing the perfect summer mini. I love a black mini dress for extra hot days and this Reformation dress has been perfect for both vacation and NYC. A reason to buy. Linked Here.
